
Joseph joined Hannouche Associates in 2002. His practice focuses primarily on Arbitration and Criminal Procedure.
Mr. Wanis represents both individual and corporate clients in arbitration proceedings in Lebanon, having led the firm’s litigation practice to consistent success in complex cases. In criminal law, he appears before specialized courts, including communitarian and military tribunals, where he is recognized for his expertise and advocacy.
He is the author of “Jurisdiction of Military Courts in Lebanon”, the country’s leading reference work on the subject.
Joseph is fluent in Arabic, French, and English. He holds an LL.B. from the Lebanese University (2001) and an LL.M. in General Private Law from La Sagesse University (2003). He is a member of the Beirut Bar Association and an active human rights advocate, frequently speaking at conferences and conventions.
