Dhamen Alwakeel

Dhamen joined the Baghdad office in 2016. He specializes in Commercial Law, Banking and Finance, Tax Law, and Oil and Gas.

He has assisted numerous U.S., European, and regional energy companies in establishing operations in Iraq, guiding them through bidding processes and daily legal compliance. Dhamen also trains corporate directors and executives on compliance with Iraqi laws and regulations and has advised several commercial banks on market entry in Baghdad.

Dhamen is fluent in Arabic and English. He graduated from Al Mansour University School of Law (2008) and is a member of the Baghdad Bar Association.
