
Basima joined the Beirut office in 2013. She specializes in Personal Status Law, representing clients in matters including voting rights, inheritance, and identity issues, often appearing on behalf of major religious institutions.
In addition to her personal status work, Basima advises financial institutions, investment funds, municipalities, and foreign embassies, notably serving as General Counsel to a major European embassy in Beirut.
Her practice includes legal research, contract drafting, incorporation of entities, and registration with Lebanese commercial and land registries.
Basima is fluent in Arabic, French, and English. She holds an LL.B. from the Lebanese University and is a member of the Beirut Bar Association.
