
Amanda joined the Iraq office of Hannouche Associates in 2016, following her work at a leading law firm in Beirut. She specializes in Corporate Law, Energy Law, Intellectual Property, Aviation, and Banking Law.
Amanda advises international and regional clients on the legal and regulatory aspects of their operations in both Federal Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, including corporate establishment, compliance, and transactional structuring. She has extensive industry knowledge in pharmaceuticals, consumer products, and commercial distribution, gained through advising multinational pharmaceutical groups and major conglomerates.
An accomplished author and lecturer, Amanda has published articles on Energy Law, NGOs, and Labor Law in Iraq and has taught Energy Law at the American University of Beirut. She is regularly recognized by legal directories as a leading associate in the Iraqi legal market.
Amanda is fluent in Arabic, English, and Portuguese. She holds an MBA from Durham Business School (2023), an LL.M. in Oil and Gas Law from Durham University (2014), and an LL.B. from the Lebanese University (2012). She is a member of the Beirut Bar Association.
